My husband and I are full time farmers in Northern Vermont.
Our farm is a diversified farm of 4 acres of vegetables, strawberries, blueberries, laying hens, pigs, broilers, hay and heritage breed cows, American Milking Devons. Oh, and maple syrup! Did I forget anything?
We like to say the most important things we grow are our three children, whom we homeschool.
Rob, my farmer, is a 5th generation Vermont farmer. I am a transplant from Coastal Alaska, and while I always miss my Alaska home, we have made a life for ourselves here and I love Vermont.
I also love small towns, big cities, coffee, mountains, the sea, friends and street performers, in no certain order.
This blog is a place for me to share our unusual life, our funny stories, our passion for food and the land, our homeschool adventures and plain old life. Sometimes it’s crazy, but more often than not, it’s my happy place to remind myself of my blessings in this journey we call life.
Pour a cup of coffee and laugh with us, celebrate with us or just enjoy the scenery!
